By using our sourcing buying trip services, you indicate your acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions:
1. SOURCING BUYING TRIPS
This sourcing buying trip services intended to source or purchase goods for commercial and is charged to you per day (based on 8 hours). We will credit it back in full when you have confirmed an order with a volume of one or more containers (mixed items). Existing regular buyers are free of charge.
2. SUPPLIERS
We will be dialing directly to small-scale craftsmen or shops for the best possible prices. Please note, the prices given by the craftsmen or shops are only for products wrapped in simple brown paper. Therefore you will bear additional packaging costs to meet the standard packaging for export shipments.
3. PACKAGING
For packaging, there is a choice of goods packed in regular cardboard boxes or custom carton boxes for goods ready for distribution based on your requirements. For heavy or fragile items, such as large wooden or stone statues, pottery or vases, mirrors and other glass items are packed in either wooden crates or wooden frames.
4. PAYMENT TERMS
a) A 50 % of total invoice of goods & packing, and 30% of total agent fees are required upon confirming your order to start production.
b) Payment via bank transfer. We accept net payment as stated on the Invoice. The buyer bears the bank transfer fee and local bank charge in Indonesia of IDR 480,000 (US$30) for each incoming bank transfer.
c) Balance payment a week before completion of goods. We will send you pictures of finished goods as a proof and an email notification of order completion.
d) Should the remaining payment not be received within 14 working days after email notification is sent, then the order is considered to be null and void. All deposits have been paid will be utilized to defray costs associated with your order. The goods become the sole property of the suppliers.
5. TERMS OF PRICES
Terms of prices that we can quote are EXW, FOB and CIF
a) EXW (Ex Works)
The price quoted includes product and packaging. You bear the costs for:
- Pick up the goods at our warehouse,
- Origin local handling charges associated with preparing and transporting goods on board at nearest loading port in Indonesia, which includes costs for export documents and permits (COO, commercial invoice, packing list, timber legality certificate, ISP#15 certificate), Bill of Lading, customs clearance country of origin, THC country of origin, stuffing, fumigation, inland trucking or feeder, currier documents to consignee, etc.
- Sea freight to the destination country.
- Import duties/taxes and other local charges incurred at the port of destination.
- You are fully responsible for the goods after leaving our warehouse.
b) FOB (Free on Board)
The price quoted includes product, packaging, origin local handling charges and getting the goods on board at the nearest loading port in Indonesia. You bear the costs for:
- Sea freight to the destination country.
- Import duties/taxes and other local charges incurred at the port of destination.
- You are fully responsible for the goods after leaving the port of loading in Indonesia.
c) CIF (Cost Insurance and Freight)
The price quoted includes product, packaging, local handling, sea freight and insurance to the port of the destination country. As for shipment insurance we use QBE Insurance to cover goods against damage during transit. You bear the cost for:
- Import duties/taxes and other local charges incurred at the port of destination.
- You are fully responsible for the goods upon arrival at the port of destination country.
6. STORAGE
a) We provide free storage for a maximum of 30 days for non-fragile items, and for a maximum of 2 weeks for fragile items.
b) We are not responsible for any damage, shortages or losses after exceeding the storage limits mentioned above.
7. AGENT FEES
We charge you an agent service fee based on a percentage of total invoices of goods and packaging. Our service fees are for price negotiation, placing orders, payment management, production monitoring, quality inspection, manages secure packaging and shipping arrangements.
8. PROHIBITION OF DIRECT CONTACT
All craftsmen or shops that are introduced and recommended to you are those who have worked for us for many years. We have marketed, maintained and provided them with sufficient knowledge about the products they produce, therefore ethically, it is not permissible to make direct business contact with them nor to give direct instructions to them in any way and at any time without going through us. This is also to avoid overlapping information received by craftsmen which could cause miscommunication.
